The Spiders Threads, my privately owned small business, offers a line of one-of-a-kind hand dyed artwear. To create the multi-colored patterning on the fabrics, I use MX dyes together with the low-water immersion dyeing techniques developed by fiber artist Ann Johnston. I sometimes use discharge and over dying techniques as well. I dye silk, cotton, and rayon fabrics, as well as clothing blanks to create my original garments. My garments can be purchased at various art fairs in the Dayton, OH, area and on my two online stores.
